POEM - chewed head

Charlotte Griffiths - chewed headripped hole in black
jeans, button dangling
from loose thread
on jacket, pocket
sewn shut;
these are the pieces
of my soul, my
soft spot for
damaged goods
on display, a
decorated disaster
of dependability,
devastated development
of
honest person
on concrete floor,
naked, rain
pelting down
and reminding,
reminiscing what
it is to
feel
and to feel
so much.
